"The property is close to Madrid Barajas airport, but not walking distance. There is a an airport bus run by the property, but it does not run between 1400-1700 hours. You can take a cab/uber (Euro 20), but I took the 828 city bus direction Madrid (Euro 3) which drops on the main street, walking distance away. The return airport bus run by the property is every 45 minutes beginning at 6am (aside from the aforementioned siesta). The only caveat is that you have to line up 45 minutes beforehand to get the ticket. That’s fine noon, but a pain for the 6 am bus. I would suggest to the property to just let people get their “ticket” upon checkin. Or increase their bus capacity during the busy transfer times.
Another positive is there are multiple grocery stores nearby if you’re sick of going out to eat."
