"I would not recommend staying here. It is not conveniently located, not close to anything that you might be interested in. Very basic amenities. New modern very basic room. Breakfast was pretty good. I found it very expensive for what they provided. I stayed in two other hotels in Reykjavik and they were considerably better value for the money."

The sauna and tub were spectacular, got some amazing aurora views while relaxing in both. The neighborhood was great, with multiple stores like Bónus just a few minutes away. "I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. My first encounter was with a young man at the front desk. Three questions were asked (with a smile on my face) and three unfriendly answers. I wasn't expecting this, but as we waited to check in, I watched the three young people never smile at approaching guests, including myself and my husband. When I finally was "allowed" to check in, I asked the young man if he was "always this pleasant" to which he replied "yes." Several incidents occurred after...

"The staff helped me every day. Called my cabs. Food and drinks were delicious"

"Emails with check in information for all rooms not received and needed to call after arrival to get access codes. Ongoing construction contributed to noise."

"We stayed for one night only. It was close to the main attractions. The biggest issue we had was not being able to get in due to our code not working. We called and it got resolved. There were stains on the couch but aside from that just okay"

"The property was exactly as advertised and our family of 4 enjoyed our stay. The location was great with it being easy to walk to any of the big tourists spots and there was parking. We reached out to the owners several times and they were amazing! The only item of not is the property is on a Main Street in a city across from a bus stop so there is some road noise but that is to be expected."

It was soft but still supportive. -The shower and bath amenities were good. -Good location for walking the city. -There is a store right behind the hotel. -Quiet area. Even with the window propped open, there was very little street noise. What I didn’t like: -The man behind the service counter was not very helpful. Curt and indifferent. -The rooms were VERY poorly ventilated. There was no air conditioning.. which I understand as they rarely need...

"The location of this hotel was excellent. It was close to bus stop #9 which our tour operator picked us up from. It is on a great street filled with shops and restaurants. The breakfast buffet at the hotel was filled with a good assortment of foods. The staff was very helpful with answering my questions, getting us a taxi, and holding our luggage due to a late departure so we could still enjoy the day. And for coffee lovers, there is a Starbucks attached."

"Clean hotel and optimal location to the downtown area. Adjacent to a lot of shops as well as a grocery store to buy snacks and groceries. Will definitely come back to this hotel in the future!"
