"This was an amazing stay. We got a lake front home. The owner/manager was extremely helpful and friendly. This was our 1/2 way point of a long trip and we were able to get some laundry done (free just bring detergent). We were there for a Kings Canyon/Sequoia NP trip and the location was great for those. There’s starlink WiFi and Verizon got great service. Plus there’s a cute little library where you can get better internet, and rent books or dvds. I highly recommend this stay. The home was very well stocked and the decor was really awesome if you’re into that sort of thing. Plus they had several property kitties that were super friendly. Definitely a highlight of our stay 🐈‍⬛ the night sky shots we got were incredible. My only warning is if you get car sick, pack some Dramamine the roads are extremely winding but the manager warned us of that ahead a time. 10/10 would stay again. "

"This place was amazing! The owner has left nothing out - has thought of everything you might need for your stay. The kitchen is fully stock with dishes, pots and pans- and not the thrift store items. The appliances have been updated. I didn’t use the jacuzzi but I did look at it and the temperature felt right and it was spotless. My only negative is it takes about an hour to get to Sequoia park. Also of note for those that get car sick- the roads have a lot of twists and turns, which was not a drawback for me. I would definitely recommend a stay here. Also, my dogs loved being outside and exploring. "

"We stayed in the Stewart building. The room was clean and bed very comfortable. The restaurant on the property was excellent (we were seated by the window & the fireplace). We walked in at 5pm without a reservation but were able to sit right away (October). A small gift shop by the front desk. It’s pricey but can’t beat the location. "

"This is a great lodge/cabin style property in the woods off the Generals Highway. There’s a lake and tennis and archery. People come to vacation here. We were only staying here while exploring Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon so didn’t take advantage of the facilities as much but the food and service was incredible. All meals are included and they are very high quality buffet style. The direct access bridge to the property was damaged so there was a 15 min detour via a dirt road into the woods which was a bit inconvenient but part and parcel of the whole forest experience I guess. The room was spacious and the linens were good. I would come back if I was in the area again. The staff was lovely too. "
