Clarion Hotel The Edge

"The hotel is nice and in a good location for sight seeing! Our room was clean and we had great maid service everyday! The hotel was renovating while we were there so it was not as comfortable in the lobby and the restaurant couldn't accommodate us due to a lack of staffing that night. The sweet gal asked us to come back in an hour. We left and went to eat elsewhere. I needed some medication refrigerated and the front desk graciously helped me. My other concern was how hot the water was in my shower. It was scalding if turned up too high."

"The location was good. It is an older property, or looks as though it is. But the price is good for a basic hotel in a good location. I am Vegan as ordered by my doctor because I cannot take statins. There was very little for me at breakfast except salad items. I would have loved some cereal. There were no bathroom amenities except shower soap. We had already been in Scandinavia for over three weeks when we stayed there, so anything that I had brought from home was gone by then. But, the staff were very courteous, the price is readonable and overall, it is a good value."

"The cabin was charming and immaculate (although too hot). The fully equipped shared kitchen is very large, with multiple appliances for guests to cook simultaneously, and large fridge and freezer for guests to leave their food. Enjoy the sauna at the end of your day!"

"We stayed in the junior suite and the room and view were spectacular! We had to leave early and the staff prepared us a breakfast bag to go. Wonderful! We were there for a wedding and the venue was so beautiful. Every attention to detail. The staff went out of their way to be accommodating."
