"Rented this cabin for an anniversary getaway and it was really nice. It is on a gravel road with only 2 other cabins so secluded but also close enough to restaurants and attractions."

"My husband and I stayed here 3 nights. My first impression was that it was cute, clean and conveniently located to nearby activities. I appreciated that it had a bedroom, but I didn't like having to crawl over my husband to get to the far side of the bed. The mattress and bedding were comfortable, but I would have preferred fluffier pillows. Perhaps multiple pillow thicknesses could be placed on the bed to accommodate different preferences. The bathroom was clean and spacious, but the sulfur smell was nauseating at times. On the plus side, the owners have a water purifier available for drink water. We appreciated the extra blankets that were available for our use. The fire pit, unfortunately, was washed away by a recent flood, but the staff worked diligently until sundown each night, running their chainsaws and making frequent trips thru the backyard with their utility vehicle. It looked real nice when they were finished, but we didn't use it since we were leaving the next morning. All in all, it was a good stay."

"We can only say enough good things. This was clean comfortable and beautiful. Communication was 10 stars. We had one little glitch which was corrected with in an hour. We will definitely rent from them again when in the RRG Area. The bed, sheets and towels were perfect. Couch was comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could need. Always love me a hot tub after a day of hiking. Check out the Rockhouse for an excellent burger and fries. Thank you so much for opening your slice of peace and relaxation to us."

"So some rentals get the big picture right but skimp on the details. This place did it ALL right. Compact with a great use of space inside and out, it couldn’t be positioned any better to take advantage of everything Red River Gorge has to offer, including a great hamburger / beer joint a few steps away.Yet it’s designed to give you that solitude and privacy without any compromise. Loved the hot tub. And having a smart tv in every room. Sure it’s overkill but why not have them when you can! Lots of extra towels and toiletries. All the kitchen necessities. And an upstairs loft area that’s a cottage all in itself. Any flaws? Maybe a little dark in there but when you’re surrounded by trees, that’s a trade off I’m willing to take. Firepit with wood for sale on the property. Rustic furnishings and a porch swing that screams Kentucky vacation. My only regret is it’s booked and we can’t use it again at Thanksgiving!"

"This cabin has so much to offer! It was relaxing, rejuvenating, and incredibly cozy-truly beyond our expectations. We both work very long days, so we really needed a place to unwind, recharge, and escape for a little while.You literally feel like you're staying in your very own treehouse!! The beautiful scenery, peaceful surroundings, and everything there is to explore made this getaway absolutely perfect.The Nada Tunnel was remarkable to see! With all the rain, the waterfalls were absolutely spectacular, and the tram up to the Sky Bridge is breathtaking!!We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and already looking forward to a fall visit."

"As a solo traveler, I felt comfortable and safe in the area. All the comforts of home - I especially appreciated the blue tooth speaker to connect my laptop to.While no reflection on the property, the journey to get there on an extremely rutted gravel road was treacherous, especially returning in the dark. But once there, you forget about the drive!"
