"Very clean and comfortable cabin with all the amenities you would need for a short vacation. The view from the front porch is stunning. It is very quiet at the cabin, but you are not far from downtown Lansing, and only about 25 minutes away from West Jefferson."

"Charming Historic Hotel The General Francis Marion is a great hotel with so much classic charm and history. The staff was friendly and welcoming from check-in to check-out. Our room was very clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable after a long day of travel. A solid, historic property that covers all the basics exceptionally well. Close to Grayson Highlands Hiking - We'd definitely stay here again!"

"We felt so lucky to spend the night on short notice and the Inn was so nice! We will definitely stay again. Cute town with shops if you have time. Lovely dinner at the Inn and very nice breakfast included in our stay. The view at dinner was worth the few miles we drove off I-81."

"Stayed at the Motel 6 in Chilhowie, VA for less than a half a tank of gas and had a good experience. Easy check‑in, easy check‑out, everything worked, and the room was relatively clean. No frills, no problems—just a simple, affordable place to crash."

"This place was great. It was right on the river, which was amazing. The outside deck and grill area was perfect. We brought some kayaks and were able to put in right in the front. I would definitely stay here again."

"We had such a great time. The house was perfect for myself, my husband and 2 young adult sons…it was so peaceful and private…the road was great for walking our pup and we all enjoyed sitting by and wadding in the creek…all the games in the shed were fun and the hot tub was very relaxing…within 40 minutes of the Grayson Highlands which was the reason for our visit…"
