The heating was on a schedule such that at night the temperature in the house was around 6 degrees giving me a backache until I asked the owner to keep the temperature at a constant 23 degrees. "A lovely county pub in a nice setting. Clean, comfortable rooms with lots of little extras, fresh milk, free water and a little bottle of chocolate port. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The pub itself served good food. Would highly recommend."

"The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially helping on the luggage because of no lift. The property is next door to the cathedral and restaurants are surrounded the property. The breakfast was fresh and very basic but you can pay extra to get English breakfast."
