"If you’re looking for a modern, stylish stay on the Gold Coast, Dorsett Gold Coast offers a generally enjoyable experience, with a few minor hiccups along the way. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a sleek, contemporary feel and a touch of Gold Coast glamour. The rooms are comfortable and well laid out, Overall, it has a boutique vibe that feels fresh and inviting. The location is a standout. Being in Broadbeach and connected to The Star precinct makes it incredibly convenient — everything from restaurants to the beach is within easy walking distance. Facilities are also good, particularly the pool area, which has a relaxed, resort-style feel. It’s a great space to unwind and enjoy the atmosphere. However, there were a few minor issues that took away from the overall experience. On arrival, the room wasn’t quite up to standard, with things like a dusty window behind the blind that detracted from the presentation. The breakfast is held at the star and can quickly fill up. Service was generally friendly, but at times lacked consistency, e.g. organised a Wake up call that never came. Overall, Dorsett is a good option if you value style and location, but a little more attention to detail would elevate the experience. Rating: 3 out of 5"

"At first for what I paid versus what i expected didnt align. I selected mountain view and in no way did i receive that. Also first night i attempted to utilise the blinds in which they fell from the roof. The first request was that a staff mber will unscrew it until the nexy day for it to be fixed. I requested an uograde which was granted however on a lower floor. In this unit it looks just over the spa and windows arent tinted whivh eliminates alot of privacy. My concerns would be A) Safety is not considered highly in staffs mind as it was a very tough conversation to be moved rooms. B) Privacy may not be thought of when it comes to rooms looking over the spa/pool area. C) for price paid no house keeping offered and expected to keep place as tidy as I found it to when i left. D) Also once room change was sorted there was no follow up in how i was finding the stay. It was a great stay how ever a few of these things shoukd be considered for the wellbeing and safety of customers booking at synergy. Appologies for photo attached with captions. "Hotel is great, lovely pool and close to beach. Room was OK (no free upgrade this time) and having to hand over your luggage immediately on arrival (pre-check in) was unexpected and not really warranted."

"The studio with jet bath was my occupancy. The room is average. Clear signs of wear and tear (carpet torn in many places, oven was rusted, bed wasn’t too comfy, toilet taps made sounds and jet bath was not very clean). Overall, an okay place to stay, staff is very friendly and location is good."
