"Incredible views and sunrises at this beautiful rental. The home was very clean and had a well stocked kitchen. There is a beautiful sandy beach, making it easy to go for a swim whenever you want. Every day there were sea turtles resting on the beach and the snorkeling was amazing! Mahalo for the stay."

"This is not a hotel, it is essentially a verbo. It is an individual unit that someone is renting out. There is not even a designated parking spot but rather a few parking spots indicated with BHL. Unfortunately, all those who are doing this must use the same marked spots and they were almost always full. We ended up parking on the street. The bedroom wasn't even really a bedroom but more of an alcove with a full size bed that took up almost all the space and separated by a curtain. AC option was not great either. Having said this, the price was slightly cheaper than the hotel up the street. The hotel is nice and is a chain but that price is for a room with two queen beds and a bathroom. This unit had a full kitchen and separate places for my kids to sleep. It also has a balcony that overlooks a beautiful beach and comes with beach toys, a boogie board, beach chairs and umbrellas. For us this was the better option. We didn't stay there much and could save money by making our own food and not renting beach equipment. And had a washer and dryer. The only reason I did not rate it higher is that the listing was very misleading. It called it a Luxury Oceanview Condo when the "Luxury" was the view of the ocean and not the condo. Just tell the truth and let the pros and cons be weighed by the renter! I think more would be happy with it if expectations were known going in instead of a surprise. It was worth it to me once I compared it to my other options."

"The unit was great. It was clean and roomy for all 5 of us staying. Theres are few things that were minor discrepancies; a screw fell off of one of the chairs, my son found it by accidentally stepping on it; the towel rack in the restroom fell off, and one of the cupboard doors was broken. I notified the property manager of the discrepancies if they could fix it, but they couldn't. We asked for addition paper products and trash liner, which they kindly provided. It was a great stay for the most part, just rained most of the days we stayed there. Total bummer because we looked forward to just stepping out to the beach and swimming."

"This property is probably the best rental I’ve ever experienced between the host and the location….I would definitely consider this host in any future trips to the island. The accommodations were superb, the host was very friendly and quick to respond to and requests or questions, and the location as well as amenities were phenomenal!!!! Such a great experience!"

"My husband and I lived in Hawaii for years, so we knew that we wanted a quiet escape with a view far away from Waikiki, and this was it! Waking up to the Mountain View every morning was so refreshing, and the sound of the rain on the tin roof every night made us so happy. Exploring the property and having serene places to sit with views of the valley and river brought us so much peace and happiness. Do not underestimate that shower! It doesn’t look like much, but the water pressure and temperatures are perfect and the breeze coming through were both refreshing and relaxing. We will absolutely book this again!"

"Our family of 10 had a fantastic time! The property had amazing views and beach access, and all the things you could hope for. We enjoyed food trucks and restaurants near by, and snorkeling with turtles right on the beach.The construction was cumbersome at times, the pool was closed, parking was more challenging than I had hoped, and there were days that we didn’t have water. There was signage and notices to let us know, and so we were able to make plans that accommodated the construction. It was all understandable, and only makes me want to return when it’s complete. All in all, it was the trip of a lifetime and we all enjoyed our stay at the penthouse immensely. Thank you!!"
