"We understood when booking that this unit that construction was extensive, and the room did not have an ocean view. That expectation was clear in the listing and email. However, the photos were misleading. The room featured large, expansive curtains that reasonably suggested there would at least be some type of exterior view. Instead, the “view” was a brick wall directly outside the window. That was disappointing and felt deceptive in how the room was presented online.The room was extremely hot and humid. With a 4:00 p.m. check-in, the room temperature should have at least been comfortable. Communication with property management was frustrating. We were repeatedly reminded that “other guests were fine with the accommodations,” which was not helpful or reassuring. We chose not to stay, and were in the room for less than five minutes. Initially, no refund was offered despite the conditions and concerns. The cleaning fee was eventually refunded only after reminding the property manager that cleaning services would not be necessary since we never used the room.Most disappointing was the overall lack of hospitality and care demonstrated throughout the interaction. For a property in Hawai‘i, we expected at least some sense of “Aloha spirit.” Warmth, understanding, and customer care were lacking.The experience fell well short of expectations due to misleading presentation, parking limitations, poor room conditions upon arrival, and dismissive communication from management."

"My wife and I had our honeymoon here, and we could not have been happier. Literally everything about this place was perfect. Very clean, nicely decorated, efficiently renovated, right on the beach in a semi-private location that offered a lot of adventures, and being nestled right in the heart of the northern shore. The place is far away enough from any of the busy city life in Honolulu that you can get the true Hawaiian experience here and be surrounded by local businesses, but close enough so that you can still drive down and see what the city has to offer. We will definitely be staying again the next time we come back to Oahu. Highly recommend."

"This home was amazing. There was a minor issue to begin the trip but the communication with the owner was 5 stars and we got things all worked out. Place is very spacious. We had our entire family of 7 here and we had plenty of space to relax, there are air mattress available if you need additional sleeping spots. Location is amazing. Would definitely stay here again. "
