"I loved my stay at the Oakmoon. I was the only one there for two days, so I had free use of my spacious room, plus the open-plan full kitchen and living room area and the funky little interior patio with hand-painted mural. The house is on a narrow street of mostly private homes and a few bars and restaurants and close to plenty of other restaurants, shops, the marina, cathedral, laundromat, etc. Sarah, the house manager, is friendly and very helpful, if you need anything. "

"Interior was quite lovely. Didn't realize it was such a small hotel. My only comment is that it was in a part of old town that might have been offputting to someone coming from U.S. with no prior experience of old town vibes."

There’s a kitchen area that guests can use, a small ground floor outdoor space and a roof top terrace. I only stayed one night but would recommend if you’re spending a few days in Faro. "

"Wonderful spot to relax and very close to everything for exploring including the Faro train station. The only thing is the owner acts like paying guest are an inconvenience and anytime you ask for anything he is quite irritated. "
