"A beautiful, clean, comfortable cottage in a great location. The cottage is full of character, but tastefully furnished & decorated to feel up-to-date. The kitchen had everything we needed, beds were comfortable and the shower was great. The hosts were really helpful when we first arrived and had a small problem with the heating that was easily resolved. The location is great for exploring south Devon. Highly recommended. "

"Really comfortable B&B, the owners were really hospitable and the breakfasts were prob one of the best I have ever had. Dog friendly and super cute that they provided dog treats in the room. Only small thing is the jacuzzi was wood fired and they needed 6 hours notice if you wanted to use it and felt there was a bit of reluctance around asking to use it. "

"Faultless stay! Lovely calm location, very quiet and relaxing place to stay. Home away from home! I cannot stress how wonderfully clean it was, with excellent facilities. Very comfy bed, great shower! I enjoyed being welcomed back by a very sweet little black cat every evening! Lovely walks to the beach right on the doorstep. We will definitely be staying here again, would 100% recommend."

"I had a 4 night break to explore the countryside in South Devon and Malborough is close enough to the sea to be able to walk there without needing a car which I wanted and it is near a bus stop so you can go by train which I did. You can see some of the more out of the way places by foot which are not commercialised and there are plenty of footpaths and lanes to get around. there are a lot of options for walking and day trips.I had a single room which was economical with a newly refurbished bathroom. There was some traffic noise as I had a bedroom in the front."

"As always Peggy & Andy are great hosts and can’t do enough to ensure that you have a fabulous stay.The only comment I would make is that the patio furniture is past its best now and could do with being replaced."
