"The pre check in process is impossible to navigate on a mobile phone, thankfully the host helped at the last minute with the door access details. My room was booked as a double bed, it had 2 single beds, which is not great considering my height. The worst thing is that it has terrible acoustics, I was woken up at 5am by someone on the building below me in what sounded like moving equipment across tiled floors and generally clattering around obliviously to anything around them, even with earplugs, this was very loud and no chance of sleeping again. So, not the best of stays for me. "

"Want to stay in a real palace? This is the real deal with the amazing history to go with it. Our room was easily the biggest and most opulent hotel room we have stayed in. The bar was added by General Eisenhower after WWII and was one of Elvis Presley's favorites. Chris and Zoe kept us educated and entertained with their fine selection of liquors."

"Not a proper airport hotel. 1. Before arriving I received two text messages and eventually a call via whatsapp to inquire about my arrival time. When I finally got there I understood why. The hotel is tiny. Rooms dont have numvers they are called ruby, gold and platinum. And the receptionist was planning his evening. 2. It is normal to chitchat during checkin. It is decidedly not normal that your checkin comes to a grinding halt because the receptionist decides to share their life story without working towards checking you in. 3. Next, the different floors have different wifi passwords. Which are sent to you via the internet. That works if you have access and dont need wifi. 4. The room was an oven. I was there beginning of March and the temp was 23 Celsius/75 Fahrenheit at least. impossible to sleep. And no way to change it, or a receptionist to fix it (see 1) either. 5. The shower was cold and stayed that way with short outbursts of cooking water. Great way to avoid that guests take long showers. "
