However, we encountered an unexpected issue. The property is spread over two levels, upon arrival, we naturally explored the space. There are three doors downstairs—two locked and one leading to the laundry room, which was unlocked. Assuming the washing machine was available for guest use, we did a load of laundry...

"We absolutely loved this property. Beautiful views of Loch Awe right from our apartment, which was built in the 1630’s. Plenty of space in the apartment with two bedrooms, a lounge and a small kitchen. The property hosts could not have been more gracious and welcoming. We ventured into the small bar both nights to find it crowded with many friendly locals. We had an absolute blast talking and having fun with these folks. It was one of the highlights of our visit to Scotland. We ate both dinners...

"Such a beautiful location and cottage. Stayed in the Oak 2 Bed cottage and this was a home from home. They think of everything (including sachets of condiments). This stay was perfect for me, my partner and our 9 month old baby. The bedrooms are so spacious so plenty of room for a travel cot in the main bedroom with you or the 2nd bedroom. Waking up and opening the curtains to the views and the sheep was fantastic. We would definitely be going back."
