"Lovely period property. The room was very clean and the staff were excellent. The room would have benefited from blackout curtains that covered the entire window as there were bright lights outside the window. Also, light bled around the door as there were gaps under and it did not fully align with the door frame. I would stay here again as it was in a great location. "

"This is a lovely property and overall we really enjoyed the stay.However, we were not impressed that there was insufficient firewood for three nights. There were 9 logs in total inside, enough for one night, and nothing useable in the storage downstairs. For the price, that is poor service."

"Charming cottage was the perfect mountain escape for our family and furbaby. The cottage was beautiful, and warm. It was all fenced off and we had our own little secret garden. Govett's leap was just down the road. The village centre was also nearby which had a bakery, book store, antique stores, grocery outlets and a few cafes and restaurants.
Our toddler loved the massive rocket park (also nearby).
Overall, a great family stay."
