Spacious one-bedroom Hawaiiana. Visit Volcano!

"Very nice rental. The drawback is there is no air conditioning. There were a couple of stand fans and table fans. We did clean the stand fans and one of the table fans. You also have a gate lock to deal with each time you go in and out. Not all windows had screens nor the doors. However if you don’t mind the humidity and heat in the rental, it’s a great place. I did not even think to ask about a/c so I take full responsibility for that. The owner was responsive to messages. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was adequate. Tv in living area only."

"We absolutely loved our stay here. It’s peaceful, private, and truly feels like an off‑grid escape in the best way. The natural‑resource power setup worked beautifully — the A/C kept the space cool, and the hot water in the shower was perfect every time. One big tip for future guests: follow the host’s directions exactly. Do NOT rely on GPS the way we did on our first drive in. The road the host recommends is paved and easy. The parallel road the GPS tried to send us down was not paved and made for a very rough, bumpy ride. We learned quickly and didn’t make that mistake twice. The only thing we wished for was a few more bathroom towels for showering, but everything else was wonderful. If you’re looking for privacy, quiet, and a unique off‑grid experience, this place is perfect. The host was kind and helpful every step. The place was clean. Would definitely stay here again!"
