"Lovely welcome from lady on Reception. A beautiful Victorian building - stunning entrance hall and corridors to rooms. My room, though, could have been cleaner. Comfy bed. I slept well despite a noisy group of people with no etiquette regarding staying in an hotel. The grounds are stunning - you really are in the midst of nature."

We stayed for two nights over the Easter weekend and enjoyed the delicious cocktails and dinners, delightful spa facilities and comfortable room with a huge bed and stunning lake views. The hotel exterior was being refurbished when we were there & we are looking forward to visiting the new spa when it is up and running. Special thanks to the bar staff who were indefatigable, mixing cocktails in the evening and then back for the breakfast shift! A wonderful stay and we will return."

"The Bridge Inn at Holmrook. Our room was really comfortable, warm and spotlessly clean and well maintained. The whole of the Bridge Inn is dog friendly and welcoming to our pair of 4paws. The breakfast was brilliant. There's a really good selection to choose from and everything was cooked to perfection. We ate at the Bridge Inn every night because the food was excellent. The last time we ate food that good was when we ate at James Martin's restaurant. The menu had just the right amount of dishes to choose from and the helpings were spot on. We never met the chef but s/he gets 10/10. Last, but certainly not least the staff, everyone was welcoming and friendly. There is however one member of staff we would like to mention in particular. Unfortunately we didn't catch her name but she was wonderful. She was there first thing in the morning and last thing at night and always had a wonderful smile on her face and an eagerness to help wether on reception, behind the bar or serving meals. We would recommend a stay at the Bridge Inn to everyone. Well done to every member of staff there and thank you for making our stay so memorable. Thank you all."
