"I had a great stay at Nohga Hotel Kiyomizu Kyoto. The room was really spacious and I was kindly given an upgrade by reception, which was a lovely touch. The bakery in the lobby was fantastic as well – perfect for a relaxed breakfast and great coffee. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. I’d happily return."

It was in a peaceful area and the staff were always on hand to answer any questions and offer refreshments. "This hotel was one of our favourites in Japan. It is a beautiful property inside and outside. The attention to detail in every aspect is appreciated. The staff are friendly, kind and able to support you with any queries. The room is large and has all the amenities you could ever need. The location is close to many of the beloved shrines and temples. Lots of transportation options with access to city bus and subway. Lots of walking paths to explore the Higashiyama district. Loved our stay in Kyoto. "
