"The check in process was quick and easy, and our room was ready as soon as we arrived. Before I even left the front desk, I was approached about attending a one hour vacation club presentation. I was interested and planning to go at first. Unfortunately, that changed once we got to our room and found mold in the shower. The pool area was enjoyable, but many guests brought their own coolers and alcoholic drinks, leaving empty cans and bottles around the pool. On a positive note, the bar prices were very reasonable. We bought five piña coladas for under $50, which I thought was a great value. One thing that stood out throughout the resort was the overflowing trash near the elevators and common areas. At times, it sat for hours before being picked up. While I don’t blame the staff entirely, as many guests were simply careless, I do think the hotel should have employees circulating more frequently to keep the property clean. Overall, I would stay here again because we still enjoyed our trip. Just don’t come expecting a true five star resort. It’s a decent place with some areas that could definitely use improvement."
