"The photo I was sent on my confirmation for a king suite pool access was in fact an ocean front room and that was what I was expecting - what we got was a room where the only place to sit was on the bed - there was nothing KING about it or a suite as I know it - we have been to many 5 star resorts and this left us disappointed. I tried to upgrade and we were told they were full except 2 rooms around us were empty and I have no idea what else was - we did offer to pay. I will not be booking with Hotels.com again as I feel the booking was misrepresented in terms of the photo which was nothing like our room. Juliane"

"My first room had a severe leak from the AC unit however once I reported it, they got a technician to fix it within 5-10mins so that’s good. This room also had extremely poor water pressure, showering was a nightmare. I reported this and they said they’d get a technician to look at it but he couldn’t fix it. They then offered me to switch rooms as one had become free. Overall happy with how these problems were dealt with. Extremely friendly staff. Very close to lamai beach. They also offer beach towels which is good. Would recommend staying here. "

"we liked the location of the place: you are only a 5 Min walk from the Lamai night market and lots of restaurants. we loved the beach access and they have their own loungers: every time we came, we could find a nice spot in the shade. They have a very nice pool, very clean. The breakfast was great and every day some different foods. the Staff was very friendly and helpful - that was really outstanding. We had a room with a sea view - so it was on the top floor but nice in the shade starting at noon, so perfect to enjoy the balcony. They also rent scooters. So what was not so our favorite: we are non-smokers, and as the room is a non-smoking - if you have neighbours they smoke on their balcony and you smell it, nearly every day when we were relaxing at the beach someone started smoking near us and we got the smoke up - which is very annoying (especially since most of them through their cigarette buts in the sand - very inconsiderate). the beach itself has nice soft white sand, but right near us where two jet ski rentals - so when we went in for a swim: you were literally swimming between the jet skis - which takes a bit away from the "beautiful island beach feeling". the town itself is very smelly, if you walk you always smell the sewer, there is a lot of garbage, the river is very dirty and smelly - and even on the nightmarket - you get smoked on everywhere. We went to check out some more remote beaches and have to say even some of them had bottles and garbage."

"Staff is great, great breakfast, beachfront sunbeds and great pool overlooking the ocean. Walking distance to night market. Close to shopping. Laundry send out was very inexpensive. Rooms were very quiet and the resort is very jungle like and serene. Would definitely stay there again.
