"I chose this location to be in the countryside within the South Downs National Park. I was not disappointed. I could hike locally or drive a few miles for endless trails and vistas. I could also easily drive to the coast or to visit many wonderful small towns and other destinations.The Lodge was clean and comfortable and offered all I needed. "

The house provided a perfect and tranquil place to get ready for our big day and was a great backdrop to some of our wedding photos. "A fabulous place to stay, the house is furnished to a very high standard, with everything you could need, the pool was really lovely too. With only a short walk you can be in Petworth town centre which has great shops & pubs and also a lovely cinema, which is worth a visit. Carole & Robert are great hosts. "They couldn’t be more welcoming and accommodating. Daughter had wedding at upwaltham. It was the perfect place to stay for us and all the for the bridesmaids to get ready for the big day. The views are amazing too! Another bonus they have a lovely horsebox coffee bar . Highly recommend staying here. We stayed in barn cottage. "
