"For a 3 star hotel, the room was somewhat better than I expected. Good bathroom. Very comfortable bed. The fridge worked but smelled somewhat musty inside. One downside was that there was a railroad track very close to the property, with horn blasts occuring with each passing train. The air conditioning unit helped cover up most of the noise, though."

Beautiful property, roughly 20 mins from downtown Bastrop/Bastrop State Park. Perfect for outdoorsy people (especially city-dwellers wanting some fresh air). Lots of dishes/cooking utensils, a coffee bar, fire pit, and plenty of seating as well!"

"Room was very clean but a little dated. Breakfast was okay for a Continental. One of the staff was taken care of the breakfast, He was very helpful . I didn’t care much for the coffee. It was not brewed. It was liquid flavored coffee with hot water mix. I bought coffee elsewhere. There was no one at the front desk most of the time with the front doors locked. They were out working elsewhere in the hotel. If you rang for them , they come immediately, I guess they were short on staff. I would stay here again."
