Nice staff.

We loved it. Sorry we ere only there one night. But the experience was great. Carla was so amazingly welcoming. We sat in the pub/ dining area for hours talking with her and some locals and other guests! I would recommend this to everyone

This was our last night before we flew home, and we were very thankful that the beds were comfortable, and the shower was one of the best! The staff were very helpful, and the parking was nice because it was close and free. A great stay.

The staff was very helpful on how to get into Glasgow. Room was very clean and comfortable. Had a very good breakfast with lots of choices.

My honest review is this is a no frills hotel, but still a good one. The people working here are hard workers and very kind and generous with their time. Tracy and Julie particularly went out of their way to make sure my mum and me were comfortable during our stay. The food was good and the pub had great energy. Overall, if you’re okay with a bit of a small room this place is great for the value.

Check in was smooth. No lift but successful in lugging 30+kg. suitcase up & down 3 flights of stairs. Room was impeccably clean. Room safe was difficult to access due to its position on floor of closet and tendency to entrap tiny objects in door which forced me to call for help. Batteries were dead in safe but replaced after 1 day's wait. Shower and tub excellent. Wonderful array of amenities. Hotel has stopped supplying slippers. Miss them. Everything I could have hoped for and more. Perfect location, beautiful room, extra friendly staff, clean and quiet. LOVED our stay here.

When we arrived near the end of time the kitchen was open, they arranged for our bags to be brought to our room and brought us directly to a table in the bar so we got to order in time. The concierge ordered a taxi for our early morning departure the next day and was very helpful. Everyone we met was nice. The room was clean and had a nice shower. Wish we stayed here longer.

We absolutely loved this hotel. Location was fantastic for walking, staff were friendly, food and beer were great, and our room and shared spaces were fantastic. Would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed at The Raeburn for one night on a recent trip to Edinburgh but wish we could have stayed a few more! The room was huge with lovely woodwork and a marble bathroom (the fixtures were top-notch with a huge tub, huge shower, double sink, and towel warmer). Our king-sized bed was very comfortable and there was also a large flat-screen TV. The elevator made it easy to get to our room and there was parking on-site. The staff was friendly and helpful. This is a great place to stay if you’re looking for a quiet neighborhood without the mobs of tourists. The building is beautiful and quite sprawling. I was on the 2nd floor and had incredible views of Dean village. On clear days you can see quite far beyond the city into the mountains and sea. This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in the UK (and I've been staying at quite a few 5 star hotels). The staff was professional, friendly, and accomodating. They def pay attention to details and ensure we have the best experience. Even provided me some of the best local recs and I was quite impressed (and this is coming from a foodie like me)

Enjoyed our stay here. Room was a great size with comfortable beds. Location is excellent: 5 min walk to the castle, and around a variety of shops and restaurants and a very safe area. Staff was helpful and friendly. The only “con” is parking for the hotel, which is about a 15 min walk away, so can be challenging if driving.

Amazing overall. Bed could be a little more Cush but overall great facilities and the cafe at the bottom is wonderful.

Close to the Edinburgh castle, and transportation to airport. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Elevator does not reach the 3rd floor, a wee annoying but not a problem for us.
