We loved it. Sorry we ere only there one night. But the experience was great. Carla was so amazingly welcoming. We sat in the pub/ dining area for hours talking with her and some locals and other guests! I would recommend this to everyone

The staff was very helpful on how to get into Glasgow. Room was very clean and comfortable. Had a very good breakfast with lots of choices.

This was our last night before we flew home, and we were very thankful that the beds were comfortable, and the shower was one of the best! The staff were very helpful, and the parking was nice because it was close and free. A great stay.

My honest review is this is a no frills hotel, but still a good one. The people working here are hard workers and very kind and generous with their time. Tracy and Julie particularly went out of their way to make sure my mum and me were comfortable during our stay. The food was good and the pub had great energy. Overall, if you’re okay with a bit of a small room this place is great for the value.

We stayed at The Raeburn for one night on a recent trip to Edinburgh but wish we could have stayed a few more! The room was huge with lovely woodwork and a marble bathroom (the fixtures were top-notch with a huge tub, huge shower, double sink, and towel warmer). Check in was smooth. No lift but successful in lugging 30+kg. suitcase up & down 3 flights of stairs. Room was impeccably clean. Room safe was difficult to access due to its position on floor of closet and tendency to entrap tiny objects in door which forced me to call for help. This is a great place to stay if you’re looking for a quiet neighborhood without the mobs of tourists. The building is beautiful and quite sprawling. I was on the 2nd floor and had incredible views of Dean village. On clear days you can see quite far beyond the city into the mountains and sea. When we arrived near the end of time the kitchen was open, they arranged for our bags to be brought to our room and brought us directly to a table in the bar so we got to order in time. The concierge ordered a taxi for our early morning departure the next day and was very helpful. Everyone we met was nice. The room was clean and had a nice shower. Wish we stayed here longer.

Amazing overall. Bed could be a little more Cush but overall great facilities and the cafe at the bottom is wonderful.

Close to the Edinburgh castle, and transportation to airport. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Elevator does not reach the 3rd floor, a wee annoying but not a problem for us.

Enjoyed our stay here. Room was a great size with comfortable beds. Location is excellent: 5 min walk to the castle, and around a variety of shops and restaurants and a very safe area. Staff was helpful and friendly. The only “con” is parking for the hotel, which is about a 15 min walk away, so can be challenging if driving.

Convenient location allowed us to walk to all the attractions, shops, and endless dining options.
