"The room was clean. The ocean front view was great. The staff were friendly but not very helpful at times. We had a light bulb burn out in the bathroom one afternoon, so I went to the front desk and was told that there was no one from maintenance there and she didn't have access to any light bulbs. There should always be a way to get to a light bulb in a hotel. I had to pull a bulb out of a lamp and replace the one in the bathroom or go without a light all night. The electric plugs on one wall of the kitchen area did not work, including the microwave, so I had to move the microwave to another part of the room to get it to work. The parking garage is rather small for driving an extended cab pick up truck in. You can get through but it is tight in places. There is no way to take a luggage cart from the third floor of the parking garage into the hotel, it is only steps for the access."

"We stayed here with 9 couples and a dog, and overall the house worked very well for a group our size. With 9 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, there was plenty of room for everyone.One thing to understand before booking is the layout. This is essentially two separate, nearly identical units — one upstairs and one downstairs. There is no interior connection between the floors, so you have to go outside to move between them. For a large group, this actually worked pretty well because each floor has its own living space and similar layout.The location is excellent if being close to the beach is your priority. The house is NOT directly on the beach, but beach access is extremely close — walk about 30 feet from the front of the house, turn left, and you're basically at the beach. It's about as convenient as you can get without actually being oceanfront.Another big positive is the location next to the edge of Myrtle Beach State Park. It makes the area feel much more secluded and quiet than many parts of the Myrtle Beach area. The house is located between Myrtle Beach and Surfside Beach, so you will need to drive if you want to visit the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, restaurants, or the main areas of Surfside.The private pool out back was a big plus. It's nicely secluded, and there is also plenty of parking, which was important with nine couples.The management com"
