"The home was unique, large and beautiful in a great location, but it had a lot of cleanliness opportunities especially for the price paid and the host didn’t respond to my feedback. The cleanliness concerns were numerous with the worst being the lipstick stains, numerous hairs, mildew stains and unknown dust? on ALL of the bed linens. There were many cobwebs on all windows and interior corners, the outdoor furniture was dirty and you could tell these areas hadn’t been cleaned in a while. It takes a lot for me to say anything negative but for the price paid we excepted better for such an otherwise lovely home. And we also expected a response when sharing our feedback. We weren’t able to cool down the attic sleep area to a comfortable temperature while we were there in case anyone needs that for a sleeping area. Otherwise the location is excellent, it’s a unique historic home that has plenty of space, and we would have returned if not for the cleanliness concerns."

"The host was very quick to respond to our questions. The house was clean and stocked with so many extras. It is close to the Incline Railway and Ruby Falls, and a short drive to everything else. We loved the house, but there were a couple of things that you need to be aware of. The loft bedroom is huge and accommodated our son, daughter-in-law, and their toddler and newborn. They brought a toddler bed guard rail which helped out a lot. The loft has a window that is open to the living room that allowed sound and light in. It might be helpful to put a curtain over it to cut down on the light and noise. Also, that bedroom doesn't have its own bathroom, so they had to use the one at the bottom of the stairs. There was plenty of parking behind the house. There was some sort of bush or tree that left a lot of sap on our cars, but it was easily washed off. The pool was wonderful and perfect for our grandkids. There was a cute stroller-tricycle that we took advantage of. I think our kids are going to buy one of their own when they get home!There is a good bit of traffic in front of the house, but the noise was tolerable. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone visiting the area."
