"The staff went all out to make our stay feel the most confortable and welcoming I have ever felt in a hotel. Friendly, knowledgeable, they definitely went the extra mile. The spa, the location, the grounds, all were just stunningly beautiful. Walkable to the center of the shops, restaurants and coffee places. I would live there if I could. "We were sent a code for the property via a WhatsApp chat and check in was very easy. It was a short walk from the train station and we could walk to the lake, funicular and olive grove walk so the location was excellent. The apartment was very compact so I would check the floor space before booking. There were no dishwasher tablets or coffee grounds for the machine but these can be bought downstairs. For a short stay it would be good to have at least one dishwasher tablet as most shops are...
"This was a super cute place right in the heart of Lugano. Shopping minutes away. Main bus station less than a 5 minute walk. Building was easy to get in and out of. Arrival directions were clear and easy to follow. Look forward to returning in the future!"
"It was a pleasure. The view is stunning. The apartment is clean, everything that is needed can be found there and the overall location is very nice. I would absolutely recommend it"
"Make sure to go right next to the apartment to check in! There's a big sign that says San Carlo Hotel - you check in there for the apartment.
Clean, big, has AC, very close to everything. Very good for the price."
"This property is simply spectacular! The amenities are great & there is every convenience you could ever want. The apartment is modern, extremely clean & spacious; the host is very communicative, responsive, respectful, kind & helpful. Walking distance to restaurants, grocery etc. But the greatest part is the stunning lake views! You wake up in the mornings to the most beautiful lake & mountain views that bring you to an instant place of serenity that is almost inexplicable. We cannot wait to...
"Very happy with Icon. Entrance and access were convenient and easy, location very good, with bus stops within a 2-3 minute walk, the Lido/Cassarate area only 12-15 minute walk, and downtown only a 20-minute or so walk. The building was modern, and accommodation was very nice. Murphy bed very comfy, good kitchen and a very good bathroom with a rain showerhead. Nothing but nice things to say...we really loved it! "
"Very happy with the property. It had everything we needed. Very well kept and very accesible by bus(two stops across the street). Very nice area, very clean and a wonderful view. "
"La douche ne fonctionnait pas et nous avons essayé de contacter l'équipe sur les 4 numéros qui nous on été donné dont un qui était pour les urgences mais nous n'avons reçu aucune réponse de l'équipe.
nous avons donc passé un séjour de 4 jours sans douche c'est inacceptable scandaleux et déplorable, bien dommage car le reste était correcte.
Franchement je ne recommande pas du tout !"

This was the best customer service I've ever had at a hotel; the female night manager helped arrange our parking, carried most of our suitcases, and even helped us buy bus tickets - at the bus stop!
While there were a few details, like too much road noise and the tv not working (could care less), the staff's friendliness and helpfulness made it a very enjoyable stay. Would stay again in heartbeat.

Short stroll down the ramp from the main buses and trains. Host brought us to door just down the block and showed us to our little apartment. Kitchen was fully equipped; even a dishwasher. Beautiful corner room with nice view down the alleys. Around the bend from our doorway was a cement patio with flowers to relax. The breakfast was great.
