"Absolutely beautiful unique hotel with funicular going right to the hotel. Beautiful views of the city. Very good restaurant but insanely expensive (not unlike the rest of Switzerland). Only complaint is the lack of AC. Not great to visit during a heat wave, we were unable to sleep well in our room. They provided a small fan but it wasn’t sufficient in 30+ heat. Otherwise very nice."

"Absolutely wonderful worth the walk. Hidden gem. Taking public transportation was a little challenging. If you were taking an Uber, they would get you right in front of the hotel. The steps were a little tricky with luggage going up to the hotel."

"Very nice, clean and well maintained facility. Room was decent size by European standards with comfortable bed, but the sofa bed was not as comfortable with very had mattress. Location was great, within walking distance from train station and old city. Very hot outside but AC kept the room nice and cool, which was important for us. Wouldn’t mind staying here again."
