The staff from the front desk to the restaurant to the housekeepers were very friendly and always ready to help. They have a lovely breakfast which was included in our package which may involve an extra charge. One tip is that the subway is at the end of the street. We arrived at the central train station and the tourist info person never mentioned that option. We took a cab when we could have hopped on the subway for just a euro. The subway stop is Wllimeniaplain (sp?) Hats off to Hotel New York, one our favorite places to stay."
