"Good resort, but not quite the VIP experience advertised We stayed at Paradisus Grand Cana in a swim-up room, which was definitely the highlight. The pool was beautiful, the beach was clean with very little seaweed, however i did notice how crowded the beach loungers are. Food was also slightly better than the average all-inclusive. That said, service was inconsistent. We arrived around 4 PM and our room still wasn’t ready. We also didn’t receive the welcome drink or cold towel that was listed during booking on Expedia. Our complimentary bottle of sparkling wine took multiple follow-ups and was only delivered the day before we left. Housekeeping was slow and sometimes left notes saying they couldn’t service the room even when it was accessible. Food and drinks were good but never consistent—same orders often came out differently each time. Specialty restaurant reservations were inconvenient since they must be done in person with long morning lines, so with kids we skipped them. One thing to note, loud music plays every night until around 11 PM, and even from Building 2 we could clearly hear the bass in our room. Checkout was fast and easy, and they did approve late checkout after we explained the earlier issues. Overall, it’s a nice resort with great facilities, but don’t expect a true VIP experience or highly attentive service."

"Buffets and restaurants were very good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Ryan was our butler for the week and he was the greatest. Helped us with anything we needed and made all of our dinner reservations for us. We can’t wait to come back "

"the lobby was really nice the rooms was kinda worn down and there was no hand soap for us in the bathroom it only had one trash for the whole room and the shower water was freezing cold ! oh and people roam the floor at night messing with doors ! thank god i had a safety lock no one could get in . Very safe and secure beautiful pool. They think of everything. Love my stay and is seriously thinking of going back with my kids"

"Very, clean and modern place with pool and veranda. The host was a bit late giving us check in info basically whdn we were on the way to the apartment but his communication was better after. We lost power on the second day but he got it back after awhile. I wish there were more cooking supplies like oil and seasoning. There is a restaurant and store nearby. "

"We wanted 3 hours for an entry code. We had to find another hotel and the owner messages us the next day to stay they stopped renting it and it should not be listed. Disgusting from VRBO. Lost money no one cares "
