I’m not gonna lie, I thought it was closer to ubud when I booked, it was quite a distance. I don’t regret it, it was quiet and really awesome. We rode bikes into the village and to the waterfall. "One of the best resorts we stayed at in Ubud. The entire resort was very peaceful and quiet. We slept most of the time we were here due to Jetlag. Very relaxing spa. Great customer service and great restaurant with delicious food and we met a lot of great people at this resort highly recommend."

"Outstanding hotel in every way! A beautiful setting, amazing views and exceptional rooms/villas. If you want something special, then Sanna Ubud is the right choice. We had a butler pool villa - absolutely exceptional and the staff are amazing! They can’t do enough for you. The area is perfect - close to all the attractions you might want to see when in ubud! I would 100% stay here again! Highly recommend !!"
"This resort is somewhat misleading as the grounds are GORGEOUS but the hotel needs some serious work in terms of food, provisions and accessibility. Bagus Jati is not at all walkable. You need to take a buggy from your room to the restaurant, spa, lobby, etc.. The food was also not good at all, we ate lunch and breakfast (buffet) one time each and were not happy with the quality. As the resort is VERY remote it is not possible to order food so I would expect a better food and beverage program. The staff and spa were definitely the highlights, I had a massage/ facial and hair treatment that were all amazing! The pool is also beautiful but not heated and very cold. I would also have appreciated a bar/ restaurant near the pool as the only restaurant onsite is very far! I felt dehydrated during most of my stay. Also something to keep in mind this resort is about an hour to an hour and a half from Ubud and getting transportation was very difficult and not possible at times other than expensive transport provided by the hotel. Looking for a very remote escape than this could be the place for you but I would recommend to stay closer to Ubud for ease of transport and accommodations. "
"Great location to stay away from bustling city life. Super economical for the value and price. Loved our resort pet friends (cats and dogs) Though there were so many bugs and mosquitoes. Definitely bring bug spray! "

"We only stayed one night but, the staff were very kind and hospitable. Our room was lovely and very spacious. It is a beautiful resort, the spa treatments and yoga made us feel very relaxed, the breakfast was delicious. it is in a remote location so the road to the hotel is quite an adventure!"

"I found a dirty used towel after checking into my room. The whole property has seen better days (in the 2000s?). Once you feel disgusted, you see all the brown patches on walls and pillows. I complained, but did not feel understood. We left after the first night, despite we paid for 5. No refund.
