"A beautiful place to stay and rest with my teenage daughter at the end of a 2 week holiday and in very wet weather. We marvelled at the beauty of the garden. Immaculately clean. Kitchenette has everything needed to self cater and was thoughtfully stocked with essentials and extras like slices of bread (I think homemade) and eggs. Easy drive to Hobbiton and Cambridge (lovely town). ‘Perfect’ was my daughter’s review. Judy was lovely and all admin was seamless. I will definitely be recommending to friends travelling to NZ. "

"We absolutely love staying at this property. It is a motel and also has a hotel associated with it. There’s a pool on a hot tub. The building seems safe as it is locked at night and requires key access. It is a great place to launch off into Raglan or the Waitomo glowworm caves. This hotel is exceptionally clean and provides a great value for the price. The staff is super friendly when you check in and very kind. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your hotel."

"The room was large with all the amenities you need. Everything was spotless and our 2 night stay was the best we have had so far. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. You can walk to plenty of bars and restaurants and we find New Zealanders to be very friendly. Highly recommended. "
