The building is probably about 40 years old, and so the facility was deteriorating or run down, like cracks in the sink or stains on the wall. The mains for electricity was not easy to use - all mains were inactive when one is not in the room, making it hard to charge portable devices. "Atmosphere is amazing!! Your shoes will be stored at the locker at the lobby, going around the tatami floor of the entire building makes me feels like at home. Room and areas through out the hotel is clean and nice. Onsen is top notch. Also a free late night Ramen per night of stays was delicious. However, laundry (drying machine) instruction in english is not correct, plus most front desk personnel does not understand english, which created a bit of a run around to get things right. "
