"Loved the staff. They were very friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They always called us by name when we went through the lobby or ran into us somewhere in the hotel. We stayed in the William Tell suite in the older historic section of the hotel while our traveling companions chose the newer, modern side of the hotel. Our suite suited us with it's Old World charm. The hotel's location is great for either enjoying the sights/activities of the town/lake nearby or for day tripping to sites around Switzerland."

My wife and I agreed that this is the best hotel we have ever stayed at in our 37 years of travel together. Well done. "We had a comfortable room, with private bath, and lovely view of the village. The breakfast in the morning was good, my cappuccino freshly made, the staff were incredibly solicitous, warm and welcoming. We were transported to/from train station upon arrival and departure, which was very helpful. The location of the hotel is convenient, and quite nice being elevated for expansive views. Thank you for the TLC Falken staff!"

"The location was great right in front of the park where the paragliders land and with a view of the snow capped mountains. Fifteen minutes walk from both interlaken east and west stations. Halal food places nearby. Inside the hotel looked nice and clean though the rooms were very basic. The front of the building however looked awful...really run down and I was shocked when I saw it. The photos on the listing only show the building at night in the dark with lights on so you can't really tell. It's a shame because it really lets the hotel down. Also the breakfast buffet had very limited options considering it wasn't a cheap hotel. I was quite disappointed because I had expected more."
