The location is great and convenient. Tram stops are only 3 min away and short walk to Bourke street mall and plenty of choices for food.

Thete wasn't a balcony or window you could open. Thete were an offices opposite our room so the curtains had to be drawn all the time. The bathtub was difficult to get in or out of as it was too deep. But the location was excellent.

the hotel and room was fine no issue, I’d still come back but the entry to the hotel smells awfully bad of urine they need to use a power washer with disinfectant to rid of the smell it’s that bad.

I waa booked in to Causeway on the mall, but was moved to your other hotel i think it was 353 It was very nice with complimentary breakfast.

had a lovely stay at the causeway inn. In a perfect location with a great view. The room was very comfortable and had great facilities. Although the shower was a little hard to use it was still good enough for us. Breakfast is very expensive in the hotel so be aware of this. Overall a great stay

Great Location and Price :-)

Great location, room cozy and basic but very clean. Window opened which was lovely for some fresh air. Shower temperature was touchy, sometimes instant hot other times took 5 mins to warm up but a good size shower. Bed comfortable too would stay again :-)

Unique - being in the centre of town.o Bourke Street Mall. Being close to high end & lower end shopping trams restaurants & eateries. And a clock tower within view from your window to ensure your were up to start the day on time. Walkability to most tourist attractions too. Clean rooms friendly staff helpful & the ability to hold luggage for a few hours after checkout time.

The staff were extremely friendly. The fact you have to change lift via a seating area meant that you were talking happily with strangers... very friendly place.

A great option

The hotel is very well located and the room was modern, comfortable and very clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Good value for money. The breakfast room could be more cheerful but the pedestrian lane offers several other options if preferred.

When we arrived, after walking a few hundred metres (can't get a vehicle to the front door), the staff were pleasant but very easily confused. One male & one female at the desk, we had just arrived from the airport with 6 cases between two of us (been on a long cruise), the mat at the door was loose & tangled with the wheels of our cases. Nobody from the desk came to help, they just watched us trip over the cases. After checking in, much confusion with that, we were told to use the lift to the 2nd floor then walk thru the breakfast room to the other lift to get to our room. The first lift was so old only could take 5 people, we struggled to get our cases into the lift, still no help from the male standing watching us. We got to our room, a lot smaller than in the photos, probably used a wide-angle lens. Our room was clean & tidy. Looked for information about the hotel but only found the card our room cards were on had anything on it. Time to get freshened up, only to find we had to wait so long for the hot water to come thru, this happened every time we had to use the hot water & it was almost boiling (very dangerous). When leaving the room we had to slam he door to get it shut, so did everyone else. Check out, we wanted to settle up the night before because we were leaving very early in the morning, but they said this was to difficult to do & I still had to go to the front desk in the morning. Paid by card, 2 days later money still not gone from my bank. Never ever again.

Great position. Central to everything. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. One complaint we had was all the rooms door closers need adjusting. They all slam shut, very loudly. Recommend staying here.

In need of a little TLC. Hard to find, down an alley. Front not like on picture so a little misleading. Outside in the alley and I side doorway of hotel had a strong urine smell. When going to level 3 and above you have to take 2 lifts, which are on opposite sides, so you have to walk through restaurant. A little bit of a let down but served its purpose, personally I wouldn’t return, sorry
