I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. On the plus side, I appreciated their eco-friendliness with wooden keycards and recycling bins, and the location is great—close to the train station and Melbourne Central.
On the downside, the front desk staff were unhelpful and unwelcoming, making it hard to get information or support. They also frequently tried to charge more. The cleanliness of the room was disappointing; there was trash in the bin, and the bathroom didn’t seem properly cleaned, with dirty towels left on the floor.
One major issue for groups is the bathroom design—nearly transparent glass walls offer little privacy, which can be awkward unless you're a couple or alone. The reception had no solutions for this.
After all, the hotel needs major improvement in service, cleanliness, and room design to truly offer a comfortable stay.
