"The hotel possessed all of the old world charm I was hoping to find which of course also included the lack of modern amenities such as a coffee pot in each room. Do know that this was a minor inconvenience as there are two coffee shops immediately adjacent to the property. The rooftop bar with its access to the outdoors was charming as well. Unfortunately, we did experience a rather rude manager on duty (throughout our stay) and I got to witness him in action several times - he could surely use more training on how to deal with the pressures of running a front office staff. As a stand alone the staff members were great however with the manager on the floor everyone, including the guests, were uncomfortable. Would I stay there again?? Yes I would as I thought it offered great accessibility to Central Park, Fifth Avenue, the subway, Lincoln Center and The Big Red Bus tours."

"We stayed during Christmas time. It is a great location if you're looking to be central to most things in the city. This time of year is highly chaotic anywhere you go in NYC. The staff was more than helpful and understanding when we were delayed with our check-in because of flight cancellations. It was the perfect room for my daughter and I. "

"Pros: Staff was friendly. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. The location is fantastic for exploring the city! Cons: zero amenities-no fridge/microwave/coffee maker/vending machines. Bathroom is terrible with only a small pedestal sink and an old tub and it’s very small. Toilet didn’t flush well at all. The TV is old and kept shutting off. Overall it suited the need and provided a comfortable bed after long days walking in the city. Despite the lack of amenities we would likely stay there again for the convenience of its location!"

"This hotel was super nice and clean. The morning breakfast buffet was a definite plus and having a mini fridge also a huge plus. The location is great as the subway station is just across the street and there are so many great places within walking distance. All the staff was super friendly, especially our housekeeping staff. Really wish that the TVs in the room allowed streaming or had better infotainment options. Other than that I would definitely recommend and return. "

Super convenient to Times Square, Hells Kitchen, Theatre district, and more. We were super impressed with location. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Would highly recommend anyone looking for a great location to stay here! "
