"Food was not the greatest- not all the restaurants were open every night- entertainment was minimal- overall was not clean."

"This was an incredible house up in the hills above town. You have both jungle surroundings and ocean views. The private pool was lovely. We loved being settled in more of a local neighborhood and not a tourist trap. Nancy and Hermoso were very responsive when we first arrived and had questions about the property. We would love to come back! Before coming, please be aware that Mexico is a vibrant, lively and busy country. Don't come here looking for silence. Workers start early before the heat of the day, usually around 6 or 7 am, there's frequent motor noise on nearby roads and in neighborhoods like this one, you can always hear a rooster crowing among the many wild jungle birds. Sayulita is also loud at night. Concerts and DJs in town are LOUD and amplified by the surrounding hills. Bring earplugs or white noise if you think this will be a problem for you and you will be fine. Relax, lean in and enjoy a place that is full of life."

"Absolutely beautiful and well managed facility . Staff were SO friendly ! My daughter and I were glad to be there in late April which is just off season cause it’s a big complex and would be way too crazy for my taste during season. Spent a lot of time at adult pool . Def go to Punta da Mita and Sayulita. Easy uber rides"

"This was my third stay in Sayulita and defines wort. To start off, there was no one at the reception during our whole stay. The room was really nice however, one of the AC units in the main room smelled bad and there was mold around the unit. There was a water shut off and we had difficulties showering and after that day due to what we later found were clogged shower heads. Even though we put in a maintenance request due to having trickling water issue was only fixed when we an ourselves removed the shower head. There were bugs in the main room that I woke up to one morning on the floor and closer and some on my bed. There were no door sweeps on the door so anything could come in from the outside. There was a smashed gecko in one of the door ways. There was a hotel or bar near by that made it hard to have a good night’s rest due to getting early morning when the roosters called for the sun (my favorite part not at all a complaint). "

"This place is so beautiful: hand carved doors, private bird-watching balcony, natural light, and access to a semi-private beach! Our host was very easy to contact and her property manager checked in on us to make sure we were all set. I cannot recommend this place enough!! Heads up: The local taxi drivers know where 'Villa Bali' is, but some of the ubers weren't down to take us there. I suggest using the local taxi services for your return journey from Sayulita. "

"Very clean and comfortable . Everything all updated with new furniture , kitchen , towels .Only thing was wish I didn’t have to ask each night for outdoor lights to be turned as it was complete dark on property .Very safe in gated property and very quiet no roosters or bar music "
