"When you visit Blowing Rock you have to stay at the Embers. It’s our favorite get away-located on the corner of Main Street you can easily walk anywhere-to the restaurants, shops, museum etc. The rooms and public areas are immaculate, beds and linens inviting and comfortable, rain showers with all the immensities, beautiful towels, staff is friendly and you get the feeling they love working there(thats important) all rooms have balconies-great restaurant and bar area inside as well as outside seating. Breakfast is light with fresh fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, juice and coffee-in the afternoons they have warm chocolate chip cookies. I’m not sure how they do it but every year we come the place looks newer and more updated than the year before!…"
