Doveberry Inn

10/10 Excellent

"This was a unique experience for me. It was like having a nice room in a log cabin. It was very quiet and peaceful right off the winding country road sitting in front of a forest with a beautiful outlook from the dining area. There was good self serve beverage options available when I arrived in the late evening and breakfast the next morning had enough quality items for a gluten free person like myself. No bread or baked goods for me but nice yogurt, fresh fruit and coffee. The owner Nick was very accessible when I needed some help with the lock. He came right up and showed me what I needed to do. The room was small but comfortable. There was a tv which I didn't use. As I had a few hours to kill before turning in, I brought a book downstairs to the eating area and sat in a comfortable chair with a cup of tea. I thought I was the only one there but at breakfast there were at least three others who had stayed the night. While the mattress was somewhat soft, I still slept fine. I would stay again."

"We had a great experience here, well thought out instructions are provided for the electronic check in and room key. No staff (you do not need anyone), very clean and large room. Beautiful property, two very large downstairs living areas with nice amenities (espresso coffee and tea maker), lots of seating and games) and a gorgeous view. Lovely gated on-site pool area. This property is perfect for my dog, who loves to play fetch. Grounds are groomed."

"Our weeklong trip meandering the roads of Vermont was made more memorable by our stay at the Brook Bound Inn! The property is gorgeous and impeccably maintained! Our room was clean and so quiet! The bed was comfortable, and the blackout window blinds allowed us to sleep a little later than normal. The bathroom was very clean with a large shower and great smelling body wash, shampoo, etc. Jake and Hope were so helpful before and during our stay. We also appreciated the robust WIFI. We didn’t try the amazing pool this time, but we will for sure on our next trip!"
