"Overall, we had a great vacation but there were some issues. For example, some of the rooms had a moldy smell though they were very willing to try to remedy the situation quickly. It's just due to the high humidity but my husband has lung issues so the smell was concerning until we got moved to a new room. Our room was clean but the faucet handles were broken on a few of the taps. This is something that we were surprised housekeeping hadn't reported so that it coukd have been fixed before we occupied the room. If you are gluten intolerant, there is virtually nothing to eat between 3-5 pm. This was a frustration as 2 of the 8 in our group couldn't have gluten. It would also have been nice if menu items had better descriptions to help avoid gluten and alcohol in food. One of the desserts had alcohol in it and we had someone who is sober but didnt realize that it has a liqueur in it. Aside from this, the buttlers were very helpful and always checking to see if there was anything they could do to make our stay the best. Unfortunately there were some other staff that were a little rude but we tried to give them grace. The grounds are beautiful including the pools and beach. The food was quite good too especially the French and Italian restaurant."
