"I thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay at the Sofitel Munich Bayerpost from the 6th to 10th September 2026, in Room 453. While running a successful hotel is undeniably a team effort, I would like to highlight three team members whose exceptional service made my visit truly memorable. First, Vaton was outstanding. Despite a minor hiccup at check-in, he resolved the issue with remarkable efficiency, attentiveness, and care. He made a fantastic initial impression, which he went above and beyond to reinforce by personally checking in with me the following day to ensure everything was to my satisfaction. Vaton is a stellar ambassador for the Sofitel brand. Second, I would like to recognise the female housekeeper looking after Room 453 (whose name I regrettably missed). My room was kept consistently spotless, perfectly stocked, and maintained to an immaculate standard throughout my four-night stay. Her attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Finally, Sarah stood out for her warm and intuitive hospitality during breakfast. She struck the perfect balance between proactive service when needed and giving me space to relax and enjoy my morning. Her constant dedication to ensuring every guest had a pleasant dining experience was impressive. Thank you to the entire team at Sofitel Munich Bayerpost for your hospitality and excellent service. I look forward to returning on my next visit to Munich."

"Perfectly located close to the train station and easy to walk everywhere. Unlimited free serve yourself espresso machines in the lobby 24/7 with whole milk and oat milk and many coffee options as well as sparkling and still water on tap. We rented cute bikes from the desk and rode them to the English garden minutes away, so convenient! Darling decor as well, it even has a very lovely alpine themed outdoor patio with resident cats. You really can’t beat this place for ambiance on a budget."

"We stayed in a suite which was very spacious, my only negative comment would be about the lack of storage in the bathroom for our toiletries. They supplied GHD hairdryer, straighteners and curling tongs. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The location is excellent right in the city centre. If you love Munich this is definitely a hotel that I would recommend for you to try, staff are friendly and helpful and the bed is wonderful and we both had a very good sleep."

"Great for a night or 2 stay near the airport. No airplane noise! Rooms were well insulated and beds were comfortable. Easy walk to public bus to and from the airport, and easy to drive to. Breakfast was only EU 18 which more affordable than having a breakfast at the airport. Staff were helpful and friendly. We arrived at about 1030pm and was handed our room keys quickly despite quite a few other guests arriving at the same time. Gym was basic but nice enough and spacious. Overnight parking was on the expesive side about 35 Eu. Otherwise would highly recommend staying here."
