"Breakfast was excellent although the coffee could have been hotter. Room was lovely with excellent facilities. Roof terrace was overcrowded by tables for the rooftop bar with limited space for lounging. All staff were very friendly."

"It is a great place in great location however the hotel is tired especially for a very expensive terrace room. It is stuck in a time warp and worn out - bed, chairs carpets. The staff in the bars were very slow and poor, particularly at the poolside bar. The addition of a shuttle bus up the hill is great unless 8 Americans want to pile in as well and were abbusive to us and the driver. For 400 euros a night I also expected breakfast!!"

"The room was beautifully decorated, with all the comforts we'd expect and more. The amenities at the hotel are great. Use of the gym for free was a real bonus for us and one of the main reasons for booking. It's a fantastic facility. Access to the outdoor pool at Manta was straightforward and another great bonus. However, the service at Manta leaves a lot to be desired, though I accept this is not likely anything to do with the hotel. "
