Myrtle Beach Stay

We flew down and asked questions if there were beach towels available and was told yes. There was not so we had to go buy some. Pulled out the sofa couch and it was dirty under with trash and some type of stuffing that I questioned letting my grandkids sleep on it. The picture showed a nice kitchen. Couldn't cook in the oven as it was dirty and set off the smoke alarm in the room. There was no room to even prepare a meal. Not what I thought I was getting.

Resort was great but room was subpar. No counter space around stove area..small outdated sofa. You get what you pay for. I’d stay at the resort again but not in this room. The water pressure was great though. The view is pretty.

The condo itself is really nice. You have 2 beds in the bedroom as well as a Murphy bed and the couch also pulls out. The beds weren't the most comfortable and they creak a lot when you move but that could just be the frame. There isn't a whole lot of room in the kitchen cabinets to put your food unless you move stuff. I will say if you plan on cooking in your room to at least bring a pot. There was only one pot available. Also could not find a pizza pan. The bathroom is big. Downside to the bathroom is the door does not close completely. The shower head is borderline painful. It shoots water out way to hard with no option to change it. Checking in was easy. The office you go to is a little over a mile away from the hotel. Getting into the hotel was horrible. There was no where to park to unload. The carts to take your stuff to your room were all being used. And one elevator out of the 3 was out the majority of the time we were there. People were lined up outside in line to get on the elevator. Once you get to unload there is parking in the parking garage unless you have a handicap tag and there are spots available directly in front of the building. There are plenty of pools and hot tubs but so so many people. They seemed to keep them clean. Be sure to wear your wrist bands because they check. Also know that if you want a lounge chair out by the pool to plan ahead. People will pay their towels out and claim them for the whole day and not even be there.

Overall a great place

The resort itself has excellent amenities! The room itself was I and the 4 adults opinion was it was a bit worn! If you plan on doing any basic cooking it’s lacking in pots. The bathroom needs a little TLC! Cleanliness was about a 3! Carpets need cleaned! Beds in the bedroom were extremely comfy! View was excellent! Overall a great time! Just those few minor things which could be remedied pretty quickly!

Property was great!!!Clean nice rooms.Kid loved swimming in the many pools and lazy river.We would definitely stay again.

Girls trip

My friend and I wanted to get away for the week in myrtle beach. The place was a great location had 3 beds and the view was nice! The pools at the resort were wonderful and had easy access to the beach! This is the second time I have stayed at the resort but the first time in this room. I would stay here again!

Friends weekend getaway

We had 3 friends going for a quick weekend getaway. It was a Nice condo. Kitchen was small and didn’t have dishwasher, but we ate out mostly anyway. But if staying all week and cooked daily, would like a dishwasher. Only had one roll toilet paper. Might want to take your own, because the realtor is off site and if they are closed, the condos building staff is not supposed to provide supplies for this room. The housekeepers need to do a deep clean. There was something sticky under cabinets and also shelf under tv. Housekeeping needs to move the binder on bottom shelf and clean under it. Couldn’t find a sheet for the Murphy bed. We had extra blanket my friend laid on. We did have plenty of towels. Thanks so much for this! But, overall the room was perfect for what we needed and def worth what we paid. There is 2 full size beds in bedroom and the Murphy bed. I think there may have been one in couch too, but not sure about that one. Plenty of sleeping room. Nice size bathroom. But, the balcony was my favorite spot! Love the ocean view!!! I will go again and use this place.

DIRTY AND OLD. PICTURES NEED TO BE UPDATED! The furniture is to dirty to set on! SMELLY AND DIRTY.

I would not stay there again! Fooled by the listing pictures!!! From the second we arrived there was a strong musty smell. Mostly in the bedroom! Not good for a person with asthma! Dirty bedding, bed pillows, sofa, throw pillows and carpet. We had the blanket in the room cleaned so we could cover the sofa to sit on. The Condo needs a major clean up and updating. Didnt look like the listing pictures!! It was a struggle to continue our stay because the smell was so strong. Probably coming from the carpet. Also because the murphy bed had a dirty mattress cover, no sheets or clean bedding or pillows, knowone else could stay with us. We were disappointed and had to make other arrangements for them. So we dealt with it and stayed out most of he day and night to avoid the smell! I feel we paid plenty of extra fees and expected it to be clean and look like the listing pictures!!! The best thing about it was the location and ocean view. We stayed in different places on MB through out the years without any complaints. This one broke the chain.

The property was barely cleaned.

This property was in great location but it looked as if it hadn’t been clean in the last few visits. It appears in the pictures as if it is very neat but is totally not what we got. For the price we dealt with it but I would likely not stay here again.

Comfortable condo at a great location

Condo was comfortable for our family at a great location. Lots of things to do. Wish the owner would have more pantry space and hooks to hang towels and wet suits. We enjoyed our stay. Very quiet part of the resort.

Wish it was cheaper

I did expect it to be dirty and smelly from the previous reviews but it wasn't as bad. Some detailing of the walls, new caulking to the base of the toilet needs to be done, vacuum areas you wouldn't think like behind the night stands should be done. I LOVED that it was on the beach and had the lazy river. For what we got, considering it's literally not the resorts room, this should be cheaper. I did enjoy my stay very much. If I made more money I would do it again. I always leave it basically clean and I hope that was satisfactory. I will recommend.

Not bad, but not clean

The place stunk and smelled way unclean. My wife went and bought candles to burn cause she said it was so bad. There was a bed broken when when we arrived. The property was dirty. Our room looked like it hadn't been cleaned. The dishes were dirty with fingerprints all over them. There were chairs on the balcony left by prior guests. Tons of crap in the closets. We were told in check in instructions to bring dishwasher pods. We had no dishwasher. We were not told we didn't have a washer and dryer in our room, just on site. One of the 3 elevators in our building was always broken all week.

Location was only good thing the room did not have anything that was advertised beds where worn out resort was unsupervised our room was not cleaned before arrival as was complaints from other renters sayig same thing wouldt recomend un less u are looking to stay in filth and let ure kids run free

Loved the resort.

Overall our stay was wonderful! We really enjoyed the beach. But the condo needed to be deep cleaned. It had a very musty smell that made my sons allergies flare. The rugs and carpets need to changed because they smelled bad and you can tell they are very old and dirty. An update on almost everything would be great. A bigger TV in the living room is needed and I think some of the furniture needs to be removed. The condo is very small and to have so much furniture it makes it even smaller. However, the staff was amazing! My family and I really enjoyed staying there because the staff was super friendly and helpful! It was a good stay just needs to be updated.

Pictures are deceiving

Overall, we had a great time! The location is great, I honestly just wish the owners cared more about their property and did some upgrades . No fault of the owners, but the hallway leading to the room smelled like cat piss. The pictures made it look so pristine and clean. To start, we walked in and the unit had a weird smell, they had damp rid hiding all around. The carpets are disgusting and super old. As old as the building. The comforters are super out dated and dingy , the couch had rust spots on it, the little blue chair needs a good steam clean or maybe a nice fresh new one, the other “decoration” chair is nasty and stained up. They could eliminate some unnecessary furniture in the bedroom to give more space, update all the appliances, def have the cleaning lady check that guests wash the dishes correctly prior to allowing the next guest to use them. They had an old rag smell to the cups, and we re -washed what we used before using for this reason. Price was good but I would of paid more for a newer. Nicer unit honestly. Fresh paint is needed just overall needs a makeover. Hope this is helpful. I never want to bash anyone but please for the love of god, update this unit and show it some love, it really could be a great unit!

Needs major improvements

Very old unit and furnishings bespoke that. Lousy mattresses, sofa bed has nasty stains. Carpet old and dingy. Mold in shower. Vents need to be cleaned, lots of dirt/dust around them. Sliding door handle on outside was broken and laying on balcony. Overall condo too large and crowded for our taste and not well managed. Someone pooped in lazy river and it took other guests to pass on notice not to use it and a day before a “ pool closed “ sign was put up.
