"Me and my husband were highly dissapointed by our 3 night stay at the Chateau Elan. There were so many dissapointments I dont know where to start. First of all I will say that the staff was very nice and did everything they could to make our stay better. The room and the property was very clean. Yet, we were celebrating our 1st year wedding anniversary and the main dissapointment was the hard bed we slept on. It felt like we were sleeping on a concrete slab. We told the front desk girl but the only thing she could do was give us a matress pad to put on top of the bed because she couldn't guarantee that a bed in a different room would be more comfortable. That was no help because we didnt get 1 good night of rest. The 2nd dissapointment was the restaurant food. No good flavor, tasteless and overpriced. We had to go to the restaurants off the resort where the food was delicious and only 1/2 the price of theirs. The 3rd dissapointment were the high charges I was left with after checking out. We were not told upfront that the bar inside the room was not included in the hotel charges when I booked the room. That was very unprofessional considering that we celebrating our anniversary. To sum it all up, this resort is highly overpriced and not the 5 star resort that we thought it would be. It is not worth all the money that they charge. We could have had more fun and much better food staying at a fancy hotel in downtown Atlanta."
