"I have been in many hotels over the years. I have stayed in plenty of Holiday Inns. The hotel itself was okay, the staff was okay, the room was okay-ish. The worst thing, BY FAR, was the bed. Again, I have traveled all over the country and have been in 100s of hotel beds. To say this is the worst mattress I have ever had the displeasure of trying to sleep on is absolutely INSANE. I sat down on the end of the bed and was instantly concerned. The bed was rock hard and I not only felt BUT HEARD the springs in the mattress creek and crunch. My husband and I slept ON TOP of the blankets to try and have some type of padding. I was absolutely CRIPPLED from sleeping on this mattress for 4 hours. I was unable to get out of bed unassisted and it took me 2 hours before I could attempt to stand upright. I am writing this 8 hours after getting home and having to go to Urgent Care because the pain is unbearable. A quick overnight trip for my wedding anniversary has ended in horrific pain, urgent care and a boatload of steroids and pain relievers. Definitely not an anniversary I want to remember. I will NEVER stay at a Holiday Inn ever again."

So I planned this whole trip for my girl and spent about 2k on it, for a rental car, room, the actual musical that we were going to, food all that stuff, I booked of course through Expedia and I was coming from VA. Nobody mentioned that there was a $250 dollar hold on the room in addition to the price of the room. I called to inquire about it and the hostess was the sweetest nicest gal possible. She was hella chill and only put a 60 dollar deposit on the room which was rad. The stay itself was fine, staff was attentive and nice. Front desk staff was phenomenal and the space itself was very clean. Highly recommend! "

"The room was ok for the price, but the breakfast had few vegetarian options. The kitchen staff was very friendly , helped me with the waffle :) There are two elevators, but one was not working, and the other one was slow. I heard the other guest who was staying for a week said it's been down since he checked in. Other than that, it was fine, and I did not try the pool. This is a budget place stay if you want to visit the Rochester Museum and the Strong Museum of Play. "

"We were booked to arrive at 3pm. We were late, ended up there about 4:40. We had to wait for almost 30 minutes for our room as they were very short staffed and the room wasn't cleaned yet. The Lounge/eating area was very dirty. Food crumbs, water spills, etc... on ALL the tables. The room was nice once we got there. "

"Staff was great! All was in order at the property and it was great to see some upgrades being done. Our son will be attending St. John Fisher University next year and we are looking forward to our next stays after his football games!! "
