"The bedroom was good with two comfortable double beds. Shower but no bath but not an issue for us. Room was quite warm. A fan is provided. Be aware that the gym and parking is an additional cost, although not expensive."

"The building was amazing for its age. we didn't experience any lost soles at night cleaning not the best the high dusting hadn't been dne for months rather disappointed being it cost £160 a night and you cnt get a breakfast they recomend 2 cafe's to go towe went in to the bar for a drink and i think we stood there for nearly 10 mins before some asked if we would like a drink"

"The hotel is well located for shopping and checking out the area, and the staff is the best asset as they are very helpful. The room are clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent."

"Staff were very friendly and beds were really comfortable, however, the hotel does appear to be in a period of transition. At the time of our visit the lift wasn't working, and there was no food available in the hotel. On a minor point the TV in the room couln't pick up a signal , maybe due to it's position right by the Wrekin. At first glance the hotel does appear to be in an isolated spot, but it is less than 30 minutes drive to all the attractions of the Ironbridge Gorge, Shropshire Hills and Shrewesbury. Telford is about 15 minutes away, and there are a good choice of restaurants there. All in all I would be happy to stay there again."

"The hotel is very quirky and in need of redecoration in some places. However the friendly staff and cleanliness is far more important. The food at dinner was excellent. Maybe could offer more choice at breakfast. Good stay and hope to visit again."
