Old Fort is a dry community, but Black Mountain is a short drive away with additional dining and drinking options. We also enjoyed the nature center with our three year old.






Every staff member was friendly and professional. The hotel rooms and lobby were beautifuly furnished with authentic Arts and Crafts furnishings.

Rooms were great, location didnt matter, price was good. Only complaint is it's wood frame building and you hear every step from guest on floor above. Sounded like a dance was going on in the morning. So either request the top floor or hope the room above you is vacant or they sleep in.

Everything was clean and ready for us. Was a cold week but still nice and warm with the gas logs. Kitchen was supplied with utensils and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our stay. We will be back.

Rooms were clean, spacious and quite. Staff was good, we didnt like that we had to pay extra for the amenities like pool, exercise and putt putt golf. The jacuzzi tub didnt work and the pool had way to much chlorine, a few in our party had a very sore throat and burning eyes after swimming just a ...
