"Clean room, everything was very modern. Bathroom showers were private with a great shower head and hot water! Blowdryers provided. Pods are small but it’s nice to have the privacy. They’re very soundproof, I couldn’t hear anything from the other pods. Very secure with the QR codes and very safe. In a great location. AC worked well. Especially for a solo traveler, highly recommend! The outlet in my pod stopped working, I went to the front desk, and they immediately moved me to a new one. Good customer service."

Hampton by Hilton London Waterloo

Hampton by Hilton London Waterloo

10/10 Excellent
"We stayed here for a short break as tourists! First of all this hotel is in an excellent easy to find location, just a 10 minute walk from Waterloo mainline and underground station and also just a few minutes more from Southwark underground. The Old Vic theatre is on the doorstep. And it is 10-20 mins to The Tate Modern, Borough Market, The Golden Hinde ship, The Shard, and the south bank. The local area is also worth exploring for shops, pubs and restaurants. The hotel itself presents as clean and welcoming. The staff were very helpful in enabling us to check in a bit earlier if we weren’t fussed which level our room was on, so we could maximise time to explore. We received clear guidance and a warm welcome from the front desk. They also enabled us to leave our luggage after check out until our train. The room was air-conditioned (not too noisy) and clean and tidy with tea and coffee making facilities and all you needed. Beds were comfy, (though on the firm side) but made so that if you free the duvet to get in, you also untuck the under sheet (?)! The breakfast was a good choice of help yourself buffet, though took a bit of time to find where the cereal was! It was very busy with lots of people carrying hot food and drink everywhere, but we probably went at the busiest time. For the ‘Full English’ it was scrambled not fried eggs, the mushrooms were not button mushrooms and it was mini rosti potatoes rather than hash browns. But it was all good!"

 STG Hotel London Oxford Street

STG Hotel London Oxford Street

8/10 Good
"The hotel is very central for a few days in London. The reception staff were lovely and very helpful. We had stayed here last year and even though there had been renovations we felt we got a better room with amenities last year. This year room was smaller, hardly any natural light (not good for somebody with dodgy eyesight) and was very disappointed that the rooms were no longer equipped with a fridge. Also for the size of the hotel we felt more lifts would have been useful. That being said if you are going to be out all day and evening exploring London and just need a room to sleep and shower this could be for you."
