"It’s a convenient place, it lacks a possible picnic table outside somewhere, the items such as hair dryer, microwave, refrigerator are just for looks they don’t work. They need to work on that. The area is convenient. The breakfast is descent. Take pillows with you. Our stay was okay. Nice hard working people."

"Booked the Fischer suite, which was lovely and had a private side entrance. Probably overbooked - the suite had two bedrooms and two separate family areas and it was just my wife and me. Well maintained grounds even in October, and a lovely breakfast with other guests."

"The place was, clean, the host very amiable and ready to answer any questions. He quickly responded to queries., The kitchen had up to date appliances and plenty of pots and pans and baking equipment.Besides a wonderful place to relax the view of the mountains is great. It is also easy to get to the McDonald observatory, Fort Davis, the Chihuahuan Desert Institute,"

"The cottage was really cute and clean. Plenty of towels. My daughter kept in touch with the staff for me. It did have a fireplace which was not needed for our stay but fall hit soon after we left. There was not a kitchen but did have a mini fridge and microwave. We spent time at Fort Davis National Historic Site, Balmorhea State Park, actually saw the Marfa lights, and the McDonald Observatory. Definitely recommend!"

"Charming, like a bed-and-breakfast. Total of five bedrooms.Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean., large kitchen well supplied with a refrigerator, microwave, stove, etc. for personal use. They even have a laundry you can use! We highly recommend Mountain View Inn."
